Let the adventure begin!

Heading to New York for my residency and this is the very long journey via Hong Kong...

In the lounge pre flight. Much needed bevy and dumplings. After many delays and much unnecessary queuing. 20 minutes to boarding.

Chilling at Hong Kong. Tired, after being awake for over 24 hours yesterday and then getting 3 hours sleep, but hey, that's how I roll. One book left on a plane, one injured foot, two people with delirium and no decent coffee.
Things I have learnt on this trip:
1. Alcohol and Altitude = AA
2. Traveling with Deanna rocks my world.
3. Being in Hong Kong airport is like being in a butterfly enclosure (humidity is my kryptonite)
4. Zzzzzzzzz
5. That saying that goes: "When you laugh, the world laughs with you..." Yeah, not so much 😕 😂😂
Will post again from NYC

And you know what they say, if you can make it there, you'll make it anywhere! Apartment secured, bags unpacked, wifi connected, rusty fire escape yet to be sat on. Heading out to find a SIM card and a grocery store. Just a little jet lagged - looks like that not sleeping is finally paying off!
